Kids In Charge
Kids In Charge (KIC) are our student leaders, led by an executive group of Year 6/7 students who are elected by our student body at the beginning of the year. Class representatives are elected bi-annually by classmates and are responsible for holding class meetings and reporting back to the KIC group.
The KIC Executive runs weekly meetings, discussing issues arising from classes, playtimes and events that affect the whole school. They organise and host the Primary Assemblies twice a term and are responsible for initiating and carrying out a range of fundraisers for the school and various charities. Past fundraisers have included dress up days, colouring in competitions, pancake days, sizzles and stalls at the biannual Family Fair.
Being a member of KIC is a privilege and a great opportunity for students to develop skills to become productive and contributing citizens in the future.
KIC are a dynamic group of young leaders who strive to make Naracoorte South Primary School an even better place for all students to learn and grow.
